Theater Arts at Highland Academy

Every student takes the stage — from pre-school through 8th grade.

We believe in the importance of the arts in a child's development. To foster a love of the arts from a young age, we provide many opportunities for students to experience music, theater, and art in many forms:

  • Talent Shows
  • Annual Art Show
  • Winter and Spring Concerts
  • On-site vocal and piano lessons (additional fees apply)
  • On-site music, movement, and theater classes
  • Class trips to theater productions and art museums

Our annual musical

Every year, the students of Highland Academy present a full-length junior musical production. All children, from pre-school age on up, are involved and get a chance to be on stage. Highland staff and parents act as producers, directors, costume designers, and set designers.

What parents ask about the theater, music, and arts program at Highland Academy.

Does every student participate in the annual musical?

Yes. Every Highland Academy student — from pre-school through 8th grade — takes part in our annual full-length junior musical production. Every child gets a chance to be on stage.
